BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A 40-year-old local man has been detained in connection with several reported disturbances at restaurants in the Gadong and Kiulap commercial areas and a car park at Gadong Properties.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said four police reports had been received concerning the incidents.
Following preliminary investigations, the man was detained near the Kiulap Police Post to assist with investigations.
Police said the suspect is believed to be the individual captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) at several of the locations where the incidents were reported.
The suspect remains in custody for further investigation and will be brought before the court.
The RBPF urged members of the public to lodge police reports promptly if they discover damage to their property or encounter any suspicious incidents.
