BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Air quality remained generally good to moderate across Brunei Monday (Sept 14) morning, with all four districts recording good air quality at 7am before Brunei-Muara and Belait moved into the moderate range by 9am.
According to the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe), the 9am Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings were 63 in Brunei-Muara, 51 in Belait, 44 in Temburong and 31 in Tutong.
PSI readings below 50 indicate good air quality, while readings between 51 and 100 are classified as moderate.
The department said air quality reporting in Brunei has been enhanced since Sept 1 by incorporating PM2.5 concentrations into the PSI. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
