TOKYO: Visitors walk through a field of pink petunias in full bloom at Mother Farm in Futtsu, Chiba Prefecture, on Wednesday (Aug 26).
About 20,000 plants of the flowers, which are of the Momoirotoiki variety, are planted on a south-facing slope and cover about a 5,000-square-meter area.
The flowers can be viewed at their best until late September. - The Yomiuri Shimbun
