BANGKOK: Four Spanish tourists were injured after a large tree suddenly snapped and fell on them at Wat Phra Si Sanphet in Ayutthaya province on Sunday (Aug 16).
The incident occurred at about 12.30pm inside the historic temple complex in Pratu Chai subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district.
The four injured tourists were one man and three women. Rescue workers and local volunteers rushed to the scene and provided first aid before transferring them to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital.
