Bees attack Tiranga Yatra procession in India's Madhya Pradesh, 40 BJP workers injured

NEW DELHI: Almost 40 BJP workers taking part in a Tiranga Yatra were injured in a bee attack in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas district on Friday (Aug 14).

According to information, the Tiranga Yatra was being taken out on motorcycles in the Vijayganj mandi area of Dewas when the incident occurred.

BJP Rural Mandal Chief Atul Sharma said the bees possibly attacked the yatra after a DJ vehicle hit their hive.

One of the BJP workers was seriously injured after sustaining several bee stings.

Others were also stung by the bees. All the workers who suffered bee stings were taken to different hospitals for treatment. - The Statesman/ANN
