BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Orang Kaya Besar Imas Subok Primary School concluded its W.O.W. (Wonder of the Week) 2026 programme with a closing ceremony at the school hall recently.
Preschool to Year 6 students participated in a plant parade, showcasing creative plant-themed attire and headpieces. The activity highlighted students’ imagination, teamwork and confidence while promoting a greater appreciation of the diversity of plants.
The ceremony also featured a prize presentation recognising winners in several competition categories, including the best class at each level, best flowering plant crown and best non-flowering plant crown.
These awards celebrated students’ creativity, effort and enthusiastic participation throughout the programme. Adding to the atmosphere was the mystery nature box teachers’ game, which brought laughter and excitement while strengthening the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among the school community.
The programme concluded with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony led by school principal Masriatol Nazahiyah Mohammad, representing growth, environmental stewardship and lifelong learning. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
