BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Four new Cabinet ministers were sworn in as members of the Legislative Council (LegCo) in a ceremony held on the first day of the Second Meeting of the 22nd Legislative Council Session on Monday (Aug 3).

The ceremony, conducted in accordance with the 1959 Brunei Constitution for new ex-officio members, included Minister at The Prime Minister’s Office (Security and Law) Datuk Seri Setia Awang Sufian Sabtu and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (Energy, Upstream and Downstream) Datuk Seri Setia Awang Mohamad Azmi Mohd Hanifah.

Also sworn in were Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Datuk Seri Setia Mohammad Tashim Pengiran Hassan and Minister of Transport and InfoCommunications Datuk Seri Setia Awang Mohammed Riza Datuk Paduka Mohammed Yunos.
