PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's King Norodom Sihamoni on Friday (July 24) lifted the five-year overseas travel ban on former opposition leader Kem Sokha through a new royal decree.
The monarch removed the travel restriction originally imposed by the Phnom Penh Appeal Court on April 30, 2026.
However, the former president of the Cambodia National Rescue Party, which was dissolved by the Supreme Court, remains banned from political activity for life. - Xinhua
