Man's body stuffed in plastic bag, dumped near the edge of Myanmar's Mandalay Lake


YANGON: The body of a man with injuries, dumped in a plastic bag near the Kandawgyi River in Chan Myat Thasi Township, Mandalay, was found on Friday (July 3), according to the regional police.

Upon receiving a report that an unknown person had died near the water's edge, on the south side of Kandawgyi, Thanleb Maw Taung Ward, Chan Myat Thashi Township, officers from the town's Police Department went to investigate.

They found a package wrapped in green cotton and tied with many yellow plastic bags, which they opened and examined.

The autopsy revealed that the deceased was in his forties, with black and brown wounds on his face, chest and back.

Necessary investigations are underway, and a case will be opened at Police Station No. (10). - Eleven Media/ANN
