After nearly a decade of establishing themselves as one of the most influential all-female heavy metal bands in the world, local fans' dream of seeing Lovebites perform live will finally come true.
The sensational band from Tokyo, Japan, has been confirmed to hold their debut concert in Malaysia through "Lovebites: Outstanding Tour Live", and is scheduled to take place on October 4 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
The announcement made by Rockstage Entertainment immediately sparked excitement among local metal music fans who, until now, could only follow the band's career journey through their albums, live performance videos, and international tour series.
Formed in 2016, Lovebites quickly created their own phenomenon through a combination of power metal, speed metal, and melodic metal, packed with world-class technical skill.
Comprised of Asami (vocals), Midori (guitar), Miyako (guitar and keyboard), Fami (bass), and Haruna (drums), they are not just an ordinary all-female band, but are known as virtuoso musicians who have successfully broken stereotypes in the male-dominated world of heavy metal.

According to Talib Othman, Director of Rockstage Entertainment, Lovebites' arrival in Malaysia is one of the long-planned projects after seeing high demand from local metal fans.
"In the past few years, we have received many requests from fans to bring Lovebites to Malaysia. They are not just an all-female metal band, but a global phenomenon with loyal fans all over the world," he said.
"We believe this concert will be one of the most special metal events of the year as it marks their first appearance in Malaysia. Of course, we want to provide an experience that is on par with their performances in Japan, Europe, and the United States," he added.
He stated that the organizers are also planning a full-scale production that can provide the best audio and visual experience to the audience.
"Lovebites is known for their musical precision, performance quality, and extraordinary stage energy. Therefore, we will ensure that every aspect of the production, including the sound system, lighting, and audience experience, is at the highest level."
At the same time, he described the concert as proof that Malaysia is increasingly gaining attention from international organizers as an important destination for world rock and metal artists' tours.
"The metal community in Malaysia is very large and always provides extraordinary support. The presence of Lovebites proves that our country is increasingly recognized as an important market for international artists in this genre," he said.
Throughout their career, Lovebites has produced several critically acclaimed albums, including Awakening From Abyss, Electric Pentagram, Judgement Day, and Lovebites EP II, thus solidifying their position as one of the biggest names in the modern metal arena.
