BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: PGGMB Sungai Akar School on Tuesday (May 26) organised an educational reptile show as part of its end-of-term activities, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding and appreciation of reptiles.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with KB Reptiles and provided students with an interactive learning experience through close observation of reptiles and other exotic animals.
The initiative enabled students to broaden their knowledge of various species, their habitats and behavioural patterns. It also encouraged curiosity, environmental awareness and respect for wildlife.
Through supervised hands-on exposure, the activity helped students overcome fears and misconceptions about reptiles while reinforcing safe interaction practices outside the classroom.
In addition, the programme emphasised safety awareness and appropriate conduct when encountering reptiles and wildlife in natural settings.
Present at the event were the school principal Maswati Airin Patrah binti Ahmad, senior teachers, teaching staff and students. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
