Myanmar fishery exports exceed 10,000 tonnes in April


YANGON: Myanmar exported over 10,000 tonnes of fish in April, earning over US$17.3 million, the state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Tuesday (May 12).

The country exported over 8,900 tonnes of fish by sea, while over 2,480 tonnes of fish were exported to neighbouring countries through land borders, the report said, citing the Department of Fisheries. - Xinhua
