China says it is willing to work with Vietnam on railways

BEIJING: China has offered to cooperate with Vietnam on railway infrastructure, from loans and technology to training and industrial capabilities, a joint statement released by the Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday (April 17).

Both countries will also deepen cooperation in other fields such as aviation, security, new energy and technology, according to the joint release that comes after a meeting between Chinese and Vietnamese top leaders this week. - Reuters
