North Korea's Kim tells Xi he wants to strengthen relationship with China

SEOUL:North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said in a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping that North Korea's stand is to continue to develop in-depth relations of friendship with China, North Korean state media KCNA said on Saturday (March 28).

Kim said he is pleased to note that traditional North Korea-China relations are being lifted to an even higher stage, since the agreement reached when Kim met Xi in Beijing in September.

Kim was replying to a message sent by Xi congratulating Kim on his reappointment as president of state affairs. - Reuters
