This program aims to support boarding students from various ethnic and religious backgrounds and religion, in line with the aspirations of the Malaysian Boarding School Program to strengthen national unity at the school level.

The organisers of the event also provide an opportunity for students to appreciate the value of togetherness, the spirit of sharing blessings, and building closer relationships in an atmosphere of harmony throughout the month of Ramadan. This programme also helps students who are far from

families experience breaking fast in a conducive and caring environment.

The participation of Muslim and non-Muslim students is expected to have a positive impact on the development of unity in the country. The students were also shown the right way of character through the strengthening of spiritual values, emotional well-being, and the formation of mutual respect

respect between religions in the nation.

The event was also attended by distinguished guests, including the wife of the Malaysian Minister of Defence, Rosni Omar; Director of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Datuk Sri Hasbullah Mohd Ali; as well as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Datuk Shaharuddin Abu Sohot.

He also added that when students from various backgrounds can sit together at the same table sharing iftar meals, it becomes a symbol of national harmony and shapes a generation of young people who understand the values of tolerance and unity since their school days.

The spirit of Ramadan, according to him, also brings us closer to the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, which emphasises the values of forgiveness, gratitude, and togetherness in society.

And at the same time, Eng also confirmed the programme will be moving into more free online tuition programmes for B40 students throughout the country. He also added that the programme has an offline (face-to-face) free tuition centre in KL's Jinjang area.

Mohd Nasir, the co-founder of the programme, added that this programme is to ensure more students get better education methods that will help them in their future undertakings.

"This is a very noble programme designed to help poor students and we intend to keep it going for as long as we can," said Mohd Nasir.

The top two officials also hoped that the spirit of Ramadan and the festivities leading up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri could serve as an inspiration to the younger generation to continue preserving the harmony of the nation and strive to build a brighter, united, and prosperous future for Malaysia.

According to the organisers, such programmes reflect the continuous commitment of non-governmental organisations, the government, the corporate sector, and the community in strengthening the national unity agenda and the welfare of students through an inclusive approach grounded in humanitarian values.

The event concluded with Mohd Nasir and Eng saying that they hoped the programme would be a catalyst for many welfare initiatives and community development programmes that support the agenda of national unity in the future.
