Fourkay Gold, a leading company in Malaysia’s pawned gold purchasing (surat pajak gadai) industry and the first in the sector to obtain Shariah Compliance Certification, continues to strengthen its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment through a Ramadan outreach programme for orphans in preparation for Aidilfitri.
The programme, held on Thursday, directly benefited 39 orphans from Yayasan Anak Yatim dan Kebajikan Murid Islam Semenyih through several key initiatives, including contributions of Aidilfitri attire such as Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung, Duit Raya donations, and a breaking-of-fast event hosted at Le Méridien Putrajaya.
The event was celebrated in an atmosphere filled with respect and joy, symbolising appreciation and moral support for the orphans as they prepare to welcome the upcoming Syawal.
Chief Executive Officer of Fourkay Gold, Mohamad Sanusi Mohd Isa, said that as the first company in the pawned gold purchasing industry to hold Shariah Compliance Certification, the company carries a greater responsibility to ensure that every business success also delivers added value to the community.
“CSR is not merely a seasonal initiative, but part of our corporate philosophy — that a blessed business is one that brings benefit.
“We recognise the importance of assisting those in need while bringing joy to them, especially during the holy month and the upcoming Syawal,” he said.
He added that the Shariah-based approach is reflected not only in the company’s transaction structures and operations, but also in its organisational culture, which emphasises compassion, empathy and community well-being.

Meanwhile, Chief Operating Officer Puteri Ainsyah Quraisha Jamalus shared that sales and customer numbers have increased by 70 percent, marking one of the company’s strongest growth performances since 2025.
“We are targeting continued positive growth this year and beyond, while further enhancing public awareness and understanding of the Shariah-compliant pawned gold purchasing industry,” she said.
She also revealed plans to expand the company’s business operations through the implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between government agencies and cooperatives in the third quarter of this year.
“We have also received various collaboration offers from several financial institutions, including banks. This is a progressive sign for the company, and these collaborations are currently at the discussion stage,” she added.
Deputy YDP of Yayakem, Datuk Mohd Alias Mat Saman, expressed his excitement and described Fourkay Gold’s involvement in sharing joy and sustenance with the 39 orphans as bringing a ray of hope to them.
“I am grateful and thankful to Fourkay Gold for choosing Yayakem. Initially, I was surprised as the entire management team consists of young individuals, but I am proud of the achievements they have attained. I believe that through this programme, Fourkay Gold’s sustenance will increase because of the prayers of these orphans — prayers that are truly blessed,” he said.
As a pioneer in introducing Shariah compliance certification within the pawned gold purchasing sector, Fourkay Gold has also set new industry standards in terms of price transparency and gold valuation, fair and lawful transaction structures, ethical corporate governance, and verified Shariah-compliant operations.
To date, the company has assisted more than 30,000 customers nationwide in obtaining safe, professional and responsible cash liquidity solutions.
Operating from IOI Conezion Commercial in Putrajaya, Fourkay Gold reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to strengthening its brand as a trusted financial partner to the community, while playing an active role in the nation’s social development.
This Ramadan outreach initiative once again reflects the company’s efforts to ensure that business growth goes hand in hand with meaningful and sustainable social responsibility toward the community.
