Anutin says Bhumjaithai party will take charge of security and economy in new Thai govt


BANGKOK: Anutin Charnvirakul (pic), the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party which won 193 seats in the 500-member House of Representatives in the Feb 8 elections, says Bhumjaithai will form the next government, pledging to deliver all policies and take charge of security and the economy

Anutin said Bhumjaithai had received overwhelming public trust to lead the formation of a government, and would move immediately once the Election Commission (EC) formally announces the official election results.
