Bangladeshi man to be charged over alleged staging of his own kidnapping in Singapore

SINGAPORE: A 22-year-old Bangladeshi man is expected to be charged in court on Saturday (Feb 14) over his suspected involvement in a case of attempted cheating by staging his own kidnapping.

In a statement late on Friday (Feb 13), the police said they received a report on Feb 12 at 11.42am that the man did not turn up for work.
