Two Syria Care Aid containers from Port Klang arrive in Syria for immediate distribution

IDLIB, Syria (Agencies): Two aid containers measuring 40 feet (High Cube), containing winter clothing and thick blankets, collected through the 'Warm Their Winter' project conducted from October 21-27, 2025, have safely arrived in Syria after departing from Port Klang on 28 October 2025.

Of the two containers, one was delivered to Wakaf Kampung Malaysia Syria Care in Al-Bardaqli, Idlib, for immediate distribution to residents and communities in northern Idlib, while the second container was placed in Latakia for sorting and preparation before being distributed to surrounding villages.

Distribution of aid has commenced at Wakaf Kampung Malaysia Syria Care, benefiting 1,375 recipients from vulnerable groups affected by prolonged conflict and extreme winter conditions.

Syria Care will subsequently continue the next phase of aid distribution in northern Idlib and the Latakia area, in line with operational planning to ensure assistance reaches more communities in need.

The successful delivery and implementation of this distribution reflect the continued support and solidarity of the Malaysian public toward the suffering of the Syrian people.

Syria Care extends its deepest appreciation to all donors, strategic partners, and volunteers who have contributed to the success of this humanitarian mission.
