Joint security teams carried out aerial surveillance, ground intelligence gathering, and area clearance operations. At around 7 a.m. today, they discovered suspicious buildings near Haikpu Village, about 35 kilometres south-east of Mongyai town, and conducted a search.

The site was found to be used for online financial fraud and gambling activities. Those arrested included 321 men and nine women, all Chinese nationals, totaling 330 people.
