Bali, UK eye stronger ties in traffic, waste management


JAKARTA: Bali and the United Kingdom (UK) are stepping up cooperation in waste and traffic management to support the island’s push for cleaner, smoother and more sustainable development, as foreign tourist arrivals continue to climb.

The cooperation was discussed during a meeting between Bali Governor Wayan Koster and UK Deputy Ambassador Matthew Downing, with Bali seeking to optimise infrastructure through international partnerships, ANTARA News Agency reported.
