BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Brunei Darussalam Syariah Court informed the public, especially Muslims, that Yang Di-Pertua of the Islamic Religious Council of Brunei has informed that Nisfu Syaaban for 1447 Hijrah falls on Monday (Feb 2).
Following that, the sighting of the new moon of Ramadan for 1447 Hijrah will be carried out on 29th of Syaaban 1447 Hijrah corresponding to Feb 17.
The sightings will be carried out at the Mutiara Exchange Building, Tanjung Batu Recreational Park, Bukit Agok, Bukit Ambog Hilal Building, and Bukit Lumut Hilal Building. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
