Thailand announces readiness to host 2026 IMF, World Bank annual meetings


BANGKOK: Thailand launched a commemorative landmark on Tuesday (Jan 27) to officially announce the country's readiness to host the 2026 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group Annual Meetings.

The announcement, made at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, aims to bolster global confidence in Thailand's role and potential as an international hub for economic and financial cooperation.
