A night of unforgettable alternative music as Malaysian bands rock the night at Zepp KL


Three big names from the world of alternative and modern pop - For Revenge, Insomniacks, and Midnight Fusic - came together under one stage in an epic concert titled “Malam Simfoni Luka” at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Saturday night (Jan 24). 

The three groups with many local fans are combining their talents in a show that is conceived as an "emotional therapy" session, going beyond entertainment to explore themes of sorrow, love, and resilient hope through music.

The concert provided a sonic experience for the fans on Saturday night through music and lyrics that reflected the journey of the young generation’s soul. 

With For Revenge’s reputation as a post-hardcore band known for their energetic performances and meaningful lyrics, coupled with the charm of Insomniacks’ modern pop and Midnight Fusic’s alternative dreamy nuances, “Malam Simfoni Luka” made up for a night that thrilled local and regional music lovers on a hot Saturday night.

 

In addition to the main performances from these three groups, the concert also featured cinematic lighting, exclusively reworked live music arrangements, and special visuals that would take the audience into every emotion contained in the lyrics of their songs.

To further enliven the night, rising musicians Blunt and Natasya Sabella also joined in the fun as guest artists for the event.

The three groups belted almost their top hits for the fans at the venue. Midnight Fusic gave the fans much to cheer with songs like 'Modus Operandi, Time Machine, Cahayaku, Caramel Cream' and it was the right tonic to start the night for the fans.

Insomniacks' setlist then included 'Igauan malam, ⁠Reminisensi, Sempurna, Seperti dulu and pulang' which set the perfect tone for the night when For Revenge took the stage to rock the night with 'Manifesto- Ribuan Luka, Derana, Jentaka, Bernama Karma, Bandung Hari Ini, Jakarta Hari ini, Saat Kubenci Dunia dan Seisinya, Ada Selamanya, 1/1, Sadrah, Nama-nama yang pergi, Pulang, Serana and Penyangkalan'.

At the end of the concert, the fans were thirsting for more as the day indeed ensured a mixture of music that will be hard to forget for the fans.
