YANGON: Myanmar exported over 2.1 million tonnes of rice and broken rice in the first nine months, from April to December, of the current fiscal year 2025-26, according to the Myanmar Rice Federation on Monday (Jan 12).
The South-East Asian country earned about US$675 million from the exports during the nine months, the federation's data showed.
During the period, the country exported rice and broken rice via both sea and land routes to more than 30 countries, it said.
In the fiscal year 2024-25, the country exported 2.48 million tonnes of rice and broken rice, the federation said. - Xinhua
