Philippines November trade deficit at US$3.5bil


MANILA: The Philippines posted a trade ‌deficit of US$3.5 billion ⁠in ​November, as exports rose 21.3% from a year earlier ‍versus ⁠the ‍2% ​decrease ⁠in imports, government data showed on ‍Friday (Dec 26).

The ‍value ‌of imports reached $10.4 billion ⁠while exports totalled $6.9 billion, the ⁠Philippine Statistics Authority said. - Reuters
