Laos-Vietnam Friendship Park inaugurated in Vientiane

VIENTIANE: The newly built Laos-Vietnam Friendship Park, located in Dongmakkhai village in Xaythany district, Vientiane, was officially opened on December 2, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Initially approved in 2022, the park is a generous gift from the Vietnamese Party Central Committee, government and people of Vietnam, reaffirming Vietnam’s commitment to strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation.
