India to resume air freight traffic with Afghanistan: Foreign ministry

MOSCOW: (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) India will resume air cargo services with Afghanistan "very soon", Anand Prakash, a joint secretary in the Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran division at the Indian Foreign Ministry, said on Friday (Nov 21), reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.

"I am pleased to announce that the air freight corridor on the Kabul-Delhi sector and Kabul-Amritsar routes have been activated and cargo flights on these sectors will come very soon," Prakash said at a joint press briefing with Afghan Industry and Trade Minister Nooruddin Azizi.
