Myanmar and India discuss expanding education cooperation under ITEC programme

YANGON: Myanmar and India held discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the education sector under the India Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme, according to reports.

During a meeting in Yangon on Nov 17, Indian Ambassador Abhay Thakur and Union Education Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein explored opportunities for technical assistance, English-language training support, collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and educational exchange programmes.

The talks aimed to further enhance Myanmar–India cooperation in the field of education. - Eleven Media/ANN
