Hun Manet: ‘War cannot be resolved with war, peace is the only way forward’

PHNOM PENH (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Prime Minister Hun Manet has reaffirmed Cambodia’s firm stance on resolving border issues peacefully, emphasising that “war cannot be resolved by war”.

“Cambodia’s bitter experience with prolonged war has shown that conflicts cannot be ended through warfare; only peaceful negotiations can lead to solutions that foster peace, enabling displaced citizens to return to their homes,” he was quoted as saying in a press release on the outcome of a cabinet meeting on Friday (September 26) in Phnom Penh.
