Delegation of US lawmakers to travel to China


WASHINGTON: US Democratic Representative Adam Smith will lead a bipartisan delegation of lawmakers on a visit to China, a House Armed Services Committee staff member said on Tuesday (Sept 9).

The staff member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not provide further details on the trip, which will be the first by members of the lower house of Congress since 2019.
