South Korea: Shaman linked to ex-First Lady indicted on bribery charges


SEOUL (Bernama-Yonhap): A shaman closely associated with former first lady Kim Keon Hee was indicted Monday on charges of accepting bribes in exchange for various favours for the Unification Church, businesses and politicians.

Jeon Seong-bae, better known as Geonjin, was indicted with physical detention on charges of violating the Political Funds Act and a law on the acceptance of bribes for mediation, special counsel Min Joong-ki's team said.
