On Sept 3, the whole world celebrates the day of the end of World War II, the most destructive and violent conflict in human history. It affected more than two billion people in 60 countries, caused untold casualties and economic destruction, and has no analogues in terms of the number of victims – more than 50 million civilians died as a result of the aggressive actions of Germany and Japan, as well as their satellites.
