A fairy tale and starry affair at four international pageants staged simultaneously in Kuala Lumpur venue

KUALA LUMPUR: In a historic first for Malaysia’s pageantry, four prestigious pageants were well-staged together at the esteemed Wyndham Grand Bangsar hotel recently.

The grand finals of Supermodel Universe International 2025, Mrs Earth Malaysia 2025, Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia, and Women of the Universe Malaysia 2025 brought together 20 outstanding delegates vying for coveted titles.

The highly anticipated event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Datuk Dr Mohinder Singh, the former District Governor of Rotary International District 3300. Also present were Datuk Seri Dr Sri Sukunthan, Deputy President of Pertubuhan Majlis Kebudayaan & Warisan Nusantara, and Prof Dr Md. Bipul Nazir, Managing Director of H Healthcare Group & The Heal Kuala Lumpur.

Securing the Supermodel Universe International 2025 title in the female category was Risa Suzuki, a 47-year-old clinic administrator from Japan, while the male title went to Vasan, a 33-year-old dancer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Super Model Universe Malaysia 2025 title went to Chelsea Colette, a 30 year-old graphic designer from Selangor while the Super Model Universe West Malaysia 2025 title was won by Shaneekha Paremeswaran, a 19-year-old medical Student from Penang. Both winners will be competing in the world finals in China from 12th to 16th November this year.

Meanwhile, Mandy K Gondaara, an entrepreneur from Kuala Lumpur, was crowned Mrs Earth Malaysia 2025, while Kasturi Muniandy, a 37-year-old lawyer from Melaka, was crowned Mrs Earth International Malaysia 2025 &  Mrs Earth West Malaysia 2025. There were also two fashion parades - JK Fashion featuring the male delegates of Supermodel Universe International and VIMONO: Vintage Kimono Cardigans by Anastasia featuring all delegates. A selection of shortlisted delegates also showcased their talents during the program.

Over the past several months, delegates underwent rigorous evaluations that tested their personality, character, determination, and advocacy work. They presented environmental initiatives, produced advocacy videos, and participated in personal development, oratory, and runway classes.

A distinctive highlight this year was the mentorship program, in which delegates from the Mrs categories guided and inspired their younger Supermodel counterparts.

The Supermodel Universe International competition welcomed delegates from Malaysia, Syria, Nigeria, Türkiye, Japan, Seychelles, and Kenya, reflecting a vibrant celebration of diversity. All four competitions offered winners crowns, sashes, trophies, and various prizes. The main sponsor, The Heal, contributed wellness packages valued at RM150,000.
