Chinese commerce ministry confirms Washington visit by trade envoy


BEIJING: China's trade representative Li Chenggang (pic) is in Washington this week for discussions with US officials, according to the Chinese commerce ministry on Thursday (Aug 28).

Li will meet with officials in Washington after leading a delegation to Canada from August 24 to 27, ministry spokesperson He Yongqian said during a regular news conference.
