SINGAPORE: Labubu fans in Singapore keen to get their hands on the miniature versions of the wildly popular ugly-cute dolls can soon buy them on Lazada from 10am on Friday (Aug 29).

The Mini Labubu will be launched on the online retail platform at 10am local time in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Those in Thailand and Vietnam will be able to purchase the toy from 9am local time.

A single box of The Monsters Pin For Love series vinyl plush pendant blind box is now priced at S$18.90 on Lazada, and a whole set comprising 14 boxes is going for S$264.60.

Also launching at the same time is the Big Into Energy series Rock The Universe vinyl plush doll, coming in at S$109.90.

Labubu, a member of The Monsters series of toys designed by creator Kasing Lung, has taken the world by storm since big-name celebrities including Rihanna, Lisa and Dua Lipa were seen with them.

Earlier in August, Pop Mart announced that it would be launching a mini version of Labubu that can be attached to mobile phones.

The toy company is exploring expanding into the Middle East, Central Europe and Central and South America. - The Straits Times/ANN
