Marcos removes police chief who led Duterte arrest


MANILA: Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr has relieved the police chief from his post, less than three months since being promoted to the job.

In a letter dated Monday (Aug 25) made public on Tuesday, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ordered relieved police chief Gen Nicolas Torre (pic) to ensure proper turnover of all matters.
