BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: "Designed and built in China, this vessel is launching its first engineering project mission in Brunei," Qiao Baoxin, captain of China's "HYSY 295" trenching vessel, told Xinhua on Friday (Aug 8).

The Chinese vessel, distinguished by its large helicopter deck and towering crane, was making final preparations for offshore operations at Brunei's Muara Port on Friday. The project's primary task involves replacing subsea pipelines for a leading energy company in Brunei.
