Myanmar, China police jointly crack down on online fraud in Shan State: 256 suspects arrested


YANGON: The Myanmar and Chinese police forces held a meeting to discuss combating online fraud in the Muse region for the third time.

On July 26, a Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Police Chief Police Major General Aung Naing Thu and a Chinese delegation led by Jiang Guoli, Political Commissar of the Criminal Investigation Bureau under the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, met at the YESTE Hotel conference hall in Mangshi City, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. They held discussions and coordinated efforts for the third round of combatting online fraud in the Muse region.
