Heavy flooding leaves two dead and another two people missing in North Vietnam

HANOI (Xinhua): Torrential rains and flooding in northern Vietnam's Son La province left two people dead and two others missing from Saturday through Sunday, local daily newspaper Nhan Dan (People) reported.

The downpours were triggered by the impact of Vietnam's third tropical storm this year, and caused flash floods and landslides across the province, according to the report.
