Hongkonger suffers knife wounds in bar fight involving 10 people


A man has been taken to hospital with knife wounds after a brawl involving 10 people outside a bar in Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui.

Police received a report of the dispute near Energy Plaza at 92 Granville Road at 3.50am on Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the man had sustained cuts on his arm, with paramedics transporting him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei.

The force said the dispute began with a verbal argument inside the bar before it escalated into a physical confrontation. A knife was later found outside the establishment.

The case has been classified as wounding. Investigations into the cause of the incident are under way. - SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST
