Indonesian diva and pop princess Bunga Citra Lestari to jive stage with Jaclyn Victor and violinist Dennis Lau for 'love concert' in KL

Mention the name of Indonesian superstar singer Bunga Citra Lestari, and it seems to be inseparable from works with a nuance of love. And she aims for a super show for her concert at Plenary Hall in KLCC on Sept 27.

The special one-night of romantic tunes with the Indonesian superstar concert aptly named "The BCL: Eternal Love – Timeless Romance" is organised by Pulse Project Asia.

And during a special conference in Kuala Lumpur, Pulse Project Asia, along with the singer in attendance, announced that Malaysian diva Jaclyn Victor and well-known Malaysian composer and violinist Dennis Lau will be joining Bunga Citra on the stage for the show.

At the press conference, Bunga Citra Lestari, 42, said that she is extremely proud that the singer will share the stage with two iconic and famous musicians in Malaysia. Both Lau and Jaclyn were also present during the press conference.

Jaclyn also performed her famous song "Gemiland" for fans and media representatives who attended the press conference.

Bunga Citra added that she cannot wait to share the stage with Malaysian diva Jaclyn Victor, who celebrates her 20th year in the music industry this year. Jaclyn also recently celebrated her milestone with the long-awaited release of her seventh album in mid-January 2025.

"I'm so happy and proud that I'm sharing the stage with Jaclyn especially since she is celebrating her 20th year in the music business. I'm indeed honoured," said Bunga Citra.

"I have always been a fan of Jaclyn Victor. It was just incredible listening to and hearing her sing just now. I honestly believe she’s one of the greatest vocalists in Asia.

“I believe this concert is also a Nusantara effort that will see Malaysia and Indonesia together on stage. This will be a memorable event,” she added.

Meanwhile, the star singer also said that she first knew Lau after seeing a video of him covering her hit song "12 Tahun Terindah", which the singer said was very well executed. That, in fact, played a role in her choosing Lau to guest-perform at the concert.

"He is a brilliant musician. That says it all. We're gonna give a performance fans will not forget," said Bunga Citra.

Lau, meanwhile, told the media that performing alongside Bunga Citra has always been a dream of his.

"This tops it all, and I will also scratch this lifetime experience off my bucket list," said Bunga Citra.

As for the concert, the Indonesian diva said that her music and songs, for the concert, are meant to represent her journey in the business spanning more than 20 years, but also added that she will be performing some new songs at the KLCC arena.

The concert is expected to run for more than two hours as BCL will also be joined by her own band, along with backup dancers and vocals.

Fans can expect some of her hit songs such as "12 Tahun Terindah, Karena Ku Cinta Kau and Cinta Sejati."

Tickets for "BCL: Eternal Love – Timeless Romance" are available via www.ticket2u.com.my (Ticket prices range between RM259 and RM1,288).
