BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Deputy Sultan Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah Hassanal Bolkiah on Monday (June 2) attended the funeral prayers of the former Minister of Religious Affairs Raja Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Mohd. Zain Serudin at Kampong Lambak.
The late former minister passed away at the age of 88 on Sunday, June 1 at 9.26 pm at Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) in Jerudong.
Also present at the funeral prayers were Minister of Religious Affairs Datuk Paduka Seri Setia Badaruddin Datuk Paduka Othman and senior government officials.
The funeral prayer was led by Chief Syariah Judge Datuk Paduka Seri Setia Salim Besar. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
