Heavy rain causes severe flooding in Hanoi

HANOI: Heavy rain hit Hanoi on Thursday (May 1) morning, flooding several streets and causing major travel disruptions for residents.

The downpour, which began early in the morning, hit on the second day of the five-day holiday celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025), as many locals struggled to navigate the flooded streets.— Vietnam News/ANN
