SEOUL: Rose of Blackpink could claim two trophies at the 2025 American Music Awards, according to the nominations list unveiled Wednesday (April 23).

Her Bruno Mars collaboration “APT.” is one of six contenders for the collaboration of the year award.

As a solo act, she has earned a place on the nominees list for favourite K-pop artist.

Rose also holds the record for longest stay on Billboard's Hot 100 for a K-pop female singer.

Her mega hit “APT.”— currently at No. 13 — has remained on the chart for 26 consecutive weeks.

Earlier this month, she made Time Magazine's “The 100 Most Influential People of 2025” list and last week, she was spotted filming in Las Vegas, sparking speculation that she had been shooting a music video for a new solo set. - Yonhap
