‘Rest in peace, Papa’: Catholics in Singapore mourn Pope Francis

SINGAPORE: The Roman Catholic fraternity in Singapore has paid tribute to Pope Francis, following the announcement of his death on Monday (April 21) at the age of 88.

Chiarina Mapa, who was part of the 1,600-strong mass choir that sang during the Pope’s visit to Singapore in September 2024, said she was saddened by his death.
