Foreigner charged over 2023 perfume theft at Changi Airport, caught when she returned in March


SINGAPORE: An Australian traveller, who flew off in 2023 after she allegedly stole a bottle of perfume at a Changi Airport shop, was charged with theft on Friday (April 4) following her return to Singapore in March 2025.

Raj Varsha, 35, is accused of stealing a bottle of Chanel perfume worth S$248 from a Shilla Duty Free store at Changi Airport Terminal 1’s departure transit area shortly after 4am on March 22, 2023.
