No damage to Lao dams after Myanmar quake, says ministry

VIENTIANE: (Bernama-Lao News Agency) The Lao Department of Energy Industry Safety Management confirmed Friday (March 28) that hydropower dams across Laos were unaffected by the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar.

According to Lao News Agency, initial checks by hydroelectric operators found all dams in good condition, with no impact reported.
