Asia remains key growth engine for global economy; region's GDP growth expected to be 4.5% in 2025


BOAO, Hainan; PHNOM PENH  (Xinhua): Despite increasing global economic uncertainty, Asia has remained a key growth engine for global economy, according to a report released at the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on Tuesday.

The weighted real GDP growth rate of Asia is projected to reach 4.5 per cent in 2025, an increase from 4.4 per cent in 2024, according to the annual report titled "Asian Economic Outlook and Integration Progress."
