Oman police confirm missing Thai woman was murdered


BANGKOK: Oman police have confirmed that a missing Thai woman, Athitiya "Mind" (pic), was murdered. A burned body found on a mountain was identified as hers through DNA testing. She had been missing for three months after visiting her Bangladeshi boyfriend in Salalah.

A woman from Lampang, whose parents reported being unable to contact her for three months after she visited her Bangladeshi boyfriend in Oman, has been confirmed murdered in the Middle Eastern country.
